KUA Boys basketball team travelled to North Andover, MA to play Brooks today and came away with a 59-47 win against a determined opponent that kept the outcome of the game in question well into the second half. KUA’s perimeter shooters got off to a good start hitting 5 for 10 from beyond the arc to establish an early lead 20-9. Brooks battled back going on a 15-7 run cut the lead to three at the half 27-24. The second half saw KUA take the ball inside more and they were able to maintain a small lead. Up three with five minutes to play, KUA started to pull away and finish on a small run to win by 12. The Wildcats did a nice job sharing the ball today as all who played contributed by scoring. Din Moore had 12 points for the night; Carlos Toussaint and Leslie Smith each had 11. Pascal Mensah, showing some versatility today playing in the post, again helped set the tone on the defensive end. KUA now standing at 9-8 for the season travel to Vermont Academy on Wednesday.
