KUA Goes Cold
KUA traveled to Tilton to take on the talented Rams today. The game was slow-going from the opening tip with both teams struggling to score. KUA shot 4-for-21 in the opening stanza with Greydy Diaz knocking down 2 shots and Tori Agel and Shelby Pillsbury hitting one apiece. Unfortunately the Rams heated up and headed into the break with a 27-16 lead.
It was more of the same in the second half. KUA's defensive intensity was missing and shots were continuing to rim out (6-for-27). Greydy Diaz heated up toward the end of the game knocking down two three-pointers and a 15 footer to help KUA's cause. Gabby Diaz had a good day from the foul line connecting on 7 of 8 attempts. Tori Agel led the team in rebounds with 9. The Diaz sisters combined for 22 points in the game.
KUA drops to 7-3 on the season.
