KUA drops third in a row, 64-42

KUA Boys basketball team travelled to Barrington, RI to play St Andrews School this weekend.  Taking on a top ranked Class B team is a daunting task, but doing so less than 24 hours after playing Brewster Academy appears to have been asking too much.  St Andrews jumped to a 10-0 lead, pressed KUA relentlessly causing numerous turnovers and took control of the match early.  B y the half KUA was down 40-13.  KUA came out in the second half determined to get back on track.  They did a much better job maintaining their composure under pressure and creating good scoring opportunities.  Din Moore led KUA with 17 points for the game Rick Naylor and Leslie Smith each had eight. Final score:  St Andrews 64- KUA 42.
