KUA hosted rival Holderness School for parents' weekend, only to fall 2-1. Holderness scored first when an attacker struck an errant clear first time and sent a laser beam shot into the upper left side netting. This was one of the better shots that we have seen in years. Holderness scored again midway through the second half after a scramble in front of the goal that ended up with the ball on a Holderness foot and she calmly finished it. KUA scored in the waning minutes of the game when Caysea Benner struck a penalty shot. Both sides played hard, competitive soccer. KUA defender Olivia Fauver had her best match of the year, and newcomer Charlotte Hastings again impressed by keeping things simple up front. Lauren Borislow and Sammi Landino were the engine in the middle of the field for KUA, and Chelsea Kantola created some dangerous situations on the flanks.
