Tilton tops KUA 67-60

KUA boys basketball team played against Tilton School today in a hotly contested match that saw the KUA Wildcats come up just short, 67-60.  Tilton jumped out to a 12-2 lead in the first four minutes of the game before KUA's shots started to fall.  KUA battled back to tie the game at 23 all with four and a half minutes left  in the first half.  Anthony Nusdeo paced KUA's offensive attack with 12  of his team high 20 points in the first half.  Tilton took their 32-29 halftime lead and built it up to as much as 11 points before KUA again made a run to cut their lead to five, 57-52 with 2 minutes to play.  This was as close as KUA would get as the game ended with Tilton on top, 67-60.  Omari Mobley had 12 of his 16 points for KUA come in the second half.   Cam Sutton had another strong game for KUA at point with 16 points.  KUA will now travel to Proctor Academy on Friday for the start of the Tilton/ Proctor holiday tournment that continues on Saturday.
