KUA Hosts Proctor Academy

The KUA Boys Baseball Team (2-3) hosted Proctor Academy and came away with a 13-6 win. KUA was led by Peter Roundy and Sass Schirmer. Roundy went the distance, giving up three earned runs on seven hits, striking out six Proctor batters. At the plate he was 3-3 coming up a home run short of hitting for the cycle. He also scored three runs, knocked in three more and stole two bases. Schirmer added a single and a triple, knocked in three and did a solid job behind the plate. Mike Borrelli, Dylan Huckestein, and Charlie Claflin added two hits a piece and Peter McNamara knocked in two more runs for the Wildcats. KUA travels to Cooperstown, NY on Sunday to take on Sharon, H.S. (MA) on Abner Doubleday Field at 10 am.
