Flood-Marr Holiday Tournament
12/16-18 Before Christmas the Boys Hockey Team participated in the 41st Flood Marr Christmas tournament hosted by Noble and Greenough School and Milton Academy. KUA dropped the first three games of the tounament to Nobles, Deefield and Hotchkiss.
KUA opened the tournament against #2 rankded Nobles and after two scoreless first periods Nobles offense exploded for 5 second period goals. The game ended 6 - 0. Later that evening KUA faced off against Deerfield, both teams played hard but Deerfield's tenacious forecheck wore down KUA and after two scoreless periods Deerfield was able to score three third period goals. KUA's Angelo Ruffolo added a third period goal in the 3-1. The next day KUA squared off against Hotchkiss. Hotchkiss was ready to play from the moment the puck was dropped and jumped out to a 3-0 lead. The never lookded back as they took the game 6-0 On the last day of the tournament KUA took on Milton Academy. A Ross Jonesovertime goal gave KUA a 3-2 victory.
