12/16 Rivers Holiday Tournament
KUA boys played B,B,&N tonight in their first game of the Rivers tournament. BB&N came away with a hard-fought victory, winning 53-51. KUA played well throughout, taking a five point lead at intermission and extending it to 10 midway through the second half. BB&N made a run to even the match and then went up two with a minute left. KUA responded hitting the front end of a one and one but missed the second. Down one KUA made a defensive stop and regained posession with 20 seconds. After a time out KUA had great looks at the basket but just failed to put it in at the end. Peter McNamara lead KUA scorers with 18 points, Louis Garcia followed with 12, Devin Wooten with 10, and Joel Booker with 9 . KUA plays again tomorrow at 5pm.
