In the quarterfinals of the NEPSAC Elite 8 Championship, the Wildcats fell behind early and could not claw their way back, ultimately falling 6-2 to Cushing Academy. With the score 4-0 in the second period, sophomore Landon Paul scored to put the Wildcats on the board, but Cushing came back with two more goals in the second to take a 6-1 lead into the intermission. Sam LeDrew scored a powerplay goal in the third period for the Wildcats, but that was all the offense the boys could muster on the afternoon. Goalie Dan Heroux made some heroic saves, stopping 36 shots in total.
