Wildcats Advance to Lakes Region Final

A four-goal first period propelled the Wildcats to a 5-1 win over Tilton in the Lakes Region Semi-Finals on Friday in Meriden. Daniel Tokariwski, Sam LeDrew, Corwith Simmers, and Jack McMinn all scored in the first period as the Wildcats took a 4-0 lead into the intermission. Tilton got one goal back on a second-period powerplay, but LeDrew added his second of the game late in the third to round out the scoring. Goalie Dan Heroux stopped 28 shots to earn the win while Andrew O'Sullivan and Jackson Kyrkostas each had two assists.
