KUA wins over Brimmer, 68-63

Kimball Union Boys basketball team took on Class AA rival Brimmer and May today and came away with an exciting 68-63 victory. Brimmer built a lead up to five at the half, 33-28.  The Wildcats then scrambled back and took a two-point lead with 10 minutes to play. From that point on the lead was never more than five for either team as each team made critical shots to keep it close.  KUA placed four players in double figures for the night; Rob McRae with 18 pts, Andrew Hartel had a breakout game with 15pt, Rob Brown contributed 14 pts and Dayion Thompson followed closely with 11pts.  With the win the Wildcats push their AA record to 13-5 and 19-6 overall.  Next up- KUA travels to Wolfboro to take on Brewster Academy on Friday night.
