Big Win for Wildcats

KUA came out rolling in the first 6 minutes of the game taking a 13-2 lead before hitting a cold offensive slump going into half time with a 20-18 lead.  The rest of the game was an old fashioed low scoring slug fest. In the second half both teams gained leads, gave up leads, hit timely shots and made costly mistakes.  The back in forth 2nd half ulitimately ended with KUA  up 5  with just over 20 seconds to go in the game.  Brewster hit a big 3 to bring it within 2 with 17 seconds to go.  KUA in turn turned the ball over and Brewster had the ball out of bounds under their hoop.  Senior forward Lexy Gray came up with a huge defensive stop to secure the win.  KUA will travel to Brewster on Saturday.
