The Wildcats got ten goals from nine different scorers to pound Vermont Academy 10-1 in Saxton’s River on Monday. Zach Whitehead (1G) and Adam Fantilli (2G, 1 A) notched first-period goals for KUA to stake the visitors to a 2-0 lead after one. In the second period, Tomas Mazura (1G, 3A) tallied a shorthanded goal before Bobby May (1G), Sullivan Mack (1G, 2A), and Bryce Bollman (1G, 1A) made the score 6-0. Vermont Academy struck for its only goal late in the second, but KUA tallied four more times in the third. Fantilli scored his second of the game minutes before his brother Luca Fantilli (1G) scored to make the score 8-0. With under three minutes to play, Paul Dore (1G, 2A) and Revy Mack (1G) completed the scoring. Zak Brice was strong in net for KUA, making 19 saves for the win.
