A strong second half propelled KUA to a win, 87-58.
The Kimball Union boys basketball team traveled to Andover NH to take on Lakes Region rival Proctor Academy for the third time this season. The Wildcats won convincingly 87-58 behind 7 for 11 shooting from beyond the arc from point guard Matt Price who had a game-high 27 points for the night. KUA took an 8 point lead into the locker room at the half 38-30 but then exploded for 49 second-half points to win going away. Rob Brown (16 pts), Andrew Hartel (12 pts), and Quin Guth joined Matt in double figures for the night. The Wildcats were accurate from the line tonight hitting 19 for 21 from the charity stripe.
This was the Wildcats second win of the week after escaping with a three-point win over Bradford Academy 74-71 on Monday. They travel down to take on Governors Academy on Friday.
