KUA prevails 1-0 in final minutes

Despite missed breakaways, crossbars, and other assorted near misses, the KUA girls sustained pressure and were rewarded with 8 minutes remaining when Bella Parento headed home a Vanessa Mateko cross. Luc Turcotte nearly put home a Gracie Gamache cross moments later for the insurance goal. Earlier in the second half, Mateko put a long shot off the post. Willa McGough, Sasha Lawton, Emma Lapsey, and Kylie Mellon teamed up with keepers Sophie Braver and Olivia Brooker to earn KUA's 9th shutout of the season. KUA (8-4-2) plays Holderness at home on Wednesday.
