KUA pulls away in the second half to defeat Holderness 84-60.
The Kimball Union Boys basketball team took on Holderness today in Meriden and came away with a well-earned victory, 84-60. In a see-saw first half the teams traded the lead numerous time and were tied at 38 all after the first half. KUA stepped up their defensive intensity in the second half, holding Holderness to 21 second half points and by the end had built a comfortable lead. Enoch Cheeks provided the offensive punch today with a game high 21 points, followed closely by Nick Timberlake (18 pts), Jordan Huntley (14 pts0 and Will Engelhardt with 12 points.
