  • Daycare/Preschool Substitute Teachers

    Meriden Preschool and Daycare at Kimball Union Academy is currently seeking substitute child caregivers that are compassionate, reliable, and experienced. In this role, you will see to the children’s basic needs, creating a safe, compassionate “home-away-from home” for our little ones.
     
    This is a substitute call-in position. To succeed in this position, you should be patient, enthusiastic and flexible and able to move from the preschool room to the toddler room, if needed.

  • Director of Institutional Advancement

    Kimball Union is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Institutional Advancement.  The Director provides visionary leadership, day-to-day management, and active execution for Kimball Union Academy’s comprehensive fundraising program.

    The Director of Institutional Advancement will lead all aspects of the Academy's fundraising programming, including annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns and endowment initiatives, parent and alumni relations, prospect management, donor stewardship and a variety of special events.

    Kimball Union seeks an individual who can balance a wide range of experiences in fundraising with a willingness to become an active member of our dynamic and unique community.  A bachelor's degree with seven or more years of non-profit development experience and a demonstrated ability to establish, develop, and maintain meaningful relationships are required.  Strong leadership and team-building skills  and proven management experience are a must.

  • Director of Parent Giving

    Kimball Union Academy is accepting applications for the position of Director of Parent Giving.  As an integral member of the Advancement team, this position will assist in identifying and stewarding families of Kimball Union and act as the primary point of contact and liaison for the Parents’ Association Council.  Additional responsibilities include the coordination of Kimball Union Academy’s giving and engagement programs with parents, grandparents, parents of alumni, and friends and plan and oversee events that pertain to various parent and grandparent constituencies.  The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of advancement experience and must be able to manage multiple projects and offer exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of databases are required, preferably Raiser’s Edge and ResearchPoint.

  • Full-Time Housekeepers and Custodians

    Kimball Union Academy is looking for several new members to join our housekeeping team for either day or night shifts. These full time Custodian/Housekeepers will assist in daily housekeeping functions in dorms, classrooms, athletic facilities and offices. Other duties may include event setups throughout the year and moving of furniture. We desire a motivated team player who can also work alone. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years housekeeping experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
     
    This full time position would receive a competitive compensation and benefits package and will be provided all appropriate safety equipment necessary to perform the job.

  • Math Teacher

    We are seeking an innovative mathematics teacher to begin in January, teaching two to three sections of mathematics to include Pre-Algebra and Algebra, possibly higher levels.

    This full-time member of the KUA community, will teach and participate actively in athletics, coaching either girls varsity basketball or girls varsity hockey and residential life.

    The ideal candidate will possess a
    bachelor’s degree in mathematics, education or a closely related field; a graduate degree in mathematics or education is strongly preferred. 3-5 years (or more) of teaching high school mathematics.

  • Store Retail Associate

    Kimball Union has an opening for a part-time store associate.  The Campus Center store is open while school is in session 7 days a week from 8-6 p.m.  The Store Associate is responsible for customer service to students, parents and employees.  Duties include but are not limited to operating a cash register, stocking shelves, and assisting customers.  A retail background and excellent customer service skills are required.  If interested please send a letter of interest and resume to Business Office, Human Resources, POB 188, Meriden, NH 03770 or to HR@kua.org.
