2024 - 2025The Kimball Union Academy head coach is Chad Sturgeon and will be assisted by Noah Lynd. We plan to take the baseball program to new heights, bringing in baseball-first athletes and inviting our extremely talented community to play for the baseball team. KUA has a deep history of baseball, and the coaches are dedicated to continuing those traditions.Our coaching philosophy is simple; most importantly, we want our team to have fun, be disciplined, and respectful. We also want our student-athletes to work hard and develop into better baseball players, and more importantly great humans. We want a team culture that is inviting, hardworking, and fun.Kimball Union Academy has one of the best indoor turf facilities in the NEPSAC. The 80x50 yard “Barn” has the ability to hold two full-size infields, two pitching mounds, and a drop-down cage. This gives the players an opportunity to get practice every day, no matter the New England weather. Our weight room is up to date, and we have an amazing strength and conditioning coach who helps each athlete reach their goals.Coach Sturgeon has a proven track record of developing young athletes and helping them reach their goals, whatever that may be. He has an extensive list of college contacts from across the country at all levels and helps to guide families through the process of recruitment.
