Kimball Union Varsity Girls' Lacrosse Racks Up Another Lakes region Win
Kimball Union defeats Lakes Region Opponent Tiltom School 13-3
Wildcats’ Lacrosse beat Lake Region opponent Tilton School yesterday 13-3. Kimball Union had trouble maintaining possession in the first half but stepped up both their offense and defense in the second. Junior goalkeeper Brittney testa had 18 saves on the game and anchored the team’s defense. Sophomore Jillian Herbert looked promising at D-Wing in her first varsity appearance as did freshman newcomers Lauren Borislow and Molly Mead. Nine players all had a hand in scoring during the contests, led by three goals a piece from senior Jess Borislow and junior Whitney Frates. Sophomores Kelly Noonan, Olivia Fauver and Sammi Landino all had very strong defensive games.
