Family Weekend
Celebrate KUA Family Weekend!
We invite you to join us for Family Weekend, October 10-11, 2025! This event is designed to bring you closer to your student's Kimball Union experience and explore what the campus and community have to offer. Attend classes, meet with advisors, enjoy special presentations, and take in games and activities with fellow parents and families.

Friday, October 10
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM: Registration and Refreshment Station – Flickinger Arts Center Lobby
7:30 – 9:00 AM: Breakfast - Doe Dining Commons
8:30 AM – 4:00 PM: Book Bonanza – Schafer Family Library
8:30 – 9:00 AM: F Period – Attend class with your student
9:10 – 9:40 AM: G Period – Attend class with your student
9:50 – 10:20 AM: A Period – Attend class with your student
10:30 – 11:15 AM: All School Meeting - Quad
11:25 – 11:55 AM: B Period – Attend class with your student
11:15 AM – 1:00 PM: Lunch – Tent on the Quad
1:10 – 2:10 PM: Guest Speaker: Andrea Malkin Brenner, Transition from high school to college (all are welcome) - Hayes Auditorium
2:15 – 3:30 PM: KUA Farm Tour and Tasting – KUA Farm
2:30 – 5:00 PM: Advisor Meetings (your student’s advisor will reach out to schedule)
4:00 – 7:00 PM: Hospitality Tent – Athletic Fields, hosted by the KUA Parents Assocation
5:30 – 7:00 PM: Dinner – Tent on Quad
6:00 – 7:30 PM: Dessert Social
8:00 – 9:30 PM: Quiet Hours – Students -

7:00 – 8:00 AM 5K Run/Walk (pets welcome), hosted by the Class of 2028

Special Session for Families
Navigating the college process can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be! Join us for a Family Weekend special session with college transition expert Dr. Andrea Malkin Brenner on October 10. Brenner is co-author of How to College: What to Know Before You Go (and When You’re There) a book that guides high-school graduates through their transition to college.
