Christine Booker Hired as Head Alpine Ski Coach

Kimball Union is delighted to introduce Christine Booker as our new Head Alpine Ski Coach.
With personal experience as a collegiate, national, and international ski racer, Christine also brings a wealth of knowledge as a coach. Her coaching experience ranges from U12 club level to ski academies, private post-graduate, and collegiate programs, including our powerhouse neighbor, Dartmouth College, where she was the Head Women’s Alpine Ski Coach for seven years.

During her tenure at Dartmouth, Christine helped the ski team bring home four consecutive Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships, and several undefeated Eastern Carnival seasons. Under her guidance, the Dartmouth ski team won the national title in 2007, she earned EISA Coach of the Year, and four female alpine skiers earned a total of eleven All-American honors.

“What excited us about Christine was her impressive experience working with teens up through Division 1 college skiers, her thoughtfulness about KUA’s entire program, her vision of how best to serve the skiers today, and how to grow involvement in our snow sports in the coming years” remarked Kris Graham, a member of the search committee.
