Regional and National Recognition for KUA Student Artists
Kimball Union Academy students recently participated in the Ava Gallery and Art Center’s Seventh Annual Best of the Upper Valley High School Exhibition. Our students’ art was evaluated against 18 other schools and over 160 other artists’ work. We are incredibly proud of the work KUA student’s produced, and the support by faculty members Ursula Fries-Herfort and Julie Haskell-Webb.
In particular we extend a warm congratulations to Mackenzie Keegan, whose charming “Love Birds” won Best Ceramics Award at the AVA Exhibition, and to Grace Cahill whose intricate “Cricket Plate” was selected for inclusion, out of almost 1500 pieces, in the prestigious National K-12 Ceramics Exhibition.
