KUA Students Participate in Week of Code

Today and tomorrow, KUA students are joining millions of students across the country in celebrating the second annual Week of Code. During Office Hours of Friday 22 students gathered to learn how to program in Scratch and TouchDevelop by building "Flappy Bird" type apps.  "What I like most about the Hour of Code activities is that they provide a gentle introduction to some of the most important structures in programming languages." says Tom Pasquini, who organized the event. "Once they get started, I hope that many will be excited to continue on their own or in our Computer Science courses."

The Week of Code concludes on Saturday when students will have the opportunity to learn about Processing and JavaScipt during Club Period.
