The Elizabeth Dorr Coffin Library serves the school community's curricular, research, and recreational needs. The collection comprises 16,000 volumes in print and thousands of items in other formats, of which many are accessible through a dozen scholarly databases available on and off campus to KUA students and faculty.

Dedicated in 1980 by David L. '44 and Dexter D. '41 Coffin in memory of their mother, the Elizabeth Dorr Coffin Library is a three and a half story building located on the hillside with a view of the Flickinger Arts Center and the Dining Commons.

The librarians are available on school days to assist with the use of materials located in the Coffin Library, as well with as with online resources. KUA students, faculty, and staff may email questions about research or the library's resources anytime to librarian@kua.org.

Teachers are encouraged to schedule a session in the library for their classes. A librarian will help students to formulate research questions, construct effective online searches, and locate materials. Please speak with Marianna McKim (email mmckim@kua.org) to schedule a class.
