  • Tough Loss

    GVS loss to St Luke's in the NEPSAC Seminfinals at home. The Wildcats are very grateful for all the fans who came out to support. We are looking forward to next season and building on the success we created this year.
  • KUA Advances to NEPSAC Semifinals

    For the first time this season, KUA came back from behind to win the game, beating Concord Academy in the NEPSAC Quarterfinals. The Wildcats started off slow, showing the mental toll of two exams in one day. Concord Academy capitalized and went up 1-0 heading into halftime. The second half, KUA came out much more determined. About 15 minutes in, Bethany Solari found Lolle Maier who dribbled in behind the defenders and scored KUA's first goal. With the game tied at 1-1, it was looking like overtime was inevitable until, with about one minute left in the game, Captain Summer Combe took a corner kick and connected with Addi Hubert who found the back of the net scoring the game winner! The girls are excited to host St. Luke's in the NEPSAC Semifinals on Pope Field this Saturday, November 18th.
  • KUA Ends Regular Season with a Win

    KUA traveled to New Hampton School for the last regular season game. Even though the Wildcats started out a bit sluggish, we were still able to earn a free kick close to the corner of the field. Captain Summer Combe placed the ball nicely and Oralee Barrett was able to get her head on it and find the back of the net. Unfortunately, the goal did not inspire KUA to pick up their pace and the first half ended with NHS earning the equalizer. The Wildcats came out with much more enthusiasm the second half. A foul in the box cause Summer to take a penalty kick. The NHS goalie made a great save, but Summer did a wonderful job rebounding her own ball and earning the game winning goal. The team is looking forward to the NEPSAC playoffs next week!
  • KUA Beats Cushing

    KUA traveled the two hours to Cushing Academy and played in 35 degree weather to earn the win. The girls started out with lots of positive and excited energy. After several offsides calls, Lolle Maier kicked off the scoring with a 1:1 with the Cushing goalie. About 20 minutes later, Lolle, again, found herself on a breakaway and earned a second goal. In the second half Bethany Solari drew a foul in the box, where she decidedly scored off a PK. Reese Combe had an outstanding performance in the midfield, and goalkeepers Sydney Zackman and Taylor Swett, along with their back four (Gwyn McGee, Carys O'Connor, Hadley Bethke, and Addi Hubert), earned another clean sheet for the season. Thank you to all the loyal families who not only watched the entire game but provided some very yummy drinks and snacks for the bus ride home. The Wildcats are looking forward to their last regular season game this Saturday, November 11th at 2:15pm at New Hampton School.
  • KUA Loses to Austin Prep

    KUA played a tough game against Austin Prep on their senior day. Austin Prep scored the first goal off a corner kick in the first half. In the second half, the Wildcats came out with a fiery energy that lasted 40 minutes. Austin Prep was able to score one more time off a breakaway. Gwyn McGee had a great header to put KUA on the scoreboard. Despite numerous tried in the last five minutes, the ladies couldn't find the equalizer. Despite the loss, the team still enjoyed each others company, celebrating our nine seniors: Oralee Barrett, Summer Combe, Ana Frederick, May Lillie, Gwyn McGee, Skye McIntyre, Carys O'Connor, Katie Pierson, and Svia Russman-Araya.
  • Another Lakes Region Win

    KUA beat Holderness at home today in some cold, snowy, sunny at times weather. Though we were not playing as well as we have been, the team still earned the win. Bethany Solari fought in the box and drew a foul early in the game. Captain Summer Combe took the penalty kick and decisively found the back of the net. In the second half, Summer took a corner kick and Addi Hubert made a nice, easy connection to give the team a 2 goal buffer. Holderness had their own penalty kick in the second half, and goalkeeper Taylor Swett made an exciting save to help her and Sydney Zackman earn yet another clean sheet. The team is looking forward to their Senior Day game on Saturday, November 4th at 1:30pm against Austin Prep.
  • Big Win Against NHS

    KUA earned their second win in two days beating New Hampton School on Pope Field. Bethany Solari started the scoring just a few minutes into the game with a definitive shot. About five minutes later Captain Summer Combe had a corner kick and Gwyn McGee knocked in off a header. Bethany found her second goal 15 minutes later, and Reese Combe found the back of the net just a couple minutes later putting the Wildcats up 4-0 at halftime. The team saw one more goal by Summer in the second half. Every player on the team saw some minutes today and both goalkeepers, Sydney Zackman and Taylor Swett, kept a clean sheet for the day. The team is looking forward to playing on Wednesday, November 1st against Holderness on Pope Field at 2:30pm.
  • KUA with Close Win

    KUA traveled on Friday to Vermont Academy for a Lakes Region game. Captain Summer Combe got the Wildcats on the board within the first minute of the game. Less than ten minutes later Lolle Maier found the back of the net to put KUA up 2-0. Unfortunately, the early lead caused the defensive effort to go down. After Gwyn McGee made a tremendous save, VA had a corner kick and quickly scored. The team is looking forward to playing another Lakes Region game against New Hampton on Pope Field.
  • KUA Wins with Only Seconds Left

    KUA GVS had an exciting home win against Wilbraham & Monson on a very rainy afternoon. The Wildcats dominated most of the game but struggled to get shots on target or shots not directly to the goalie. With only three minutes left in the game, KUA found a little urgency and pushed hard offensively. In the final seconds of the game, Captain Summer Combe had a perfect corner kick that sailed into the net giving KUA the game winning and only goal of the match. Goalkeeper Taylor Swett and her defensive line (Oralee Barrett, Carys O'Connor, Addi Hubert, and Hadley Bethke) earned another clean sheet for the team. KUA is looking forward to our next game away at Vermont Academy on Friday, October 27th at 4pm.
  • Big Win Away

    The Wildcats traveled to Phillips Exeter Academy after their long fall weekend and three days off. KUA found the back of the net right before halftime off a corner kick from Captain Summer Combe to Bethany Solari who battled in the middle and got the header. The team found their stride the second half and upped their intensity on the field. Dakoda Correia made an excellent run into the box and drew a foul. Summer took the penalty kick and easily scored the second goal. Only a couple minutes later Bethany crossed the ball and Lolle Maier earned KUA's third goal. About ten minutes later Bethany took on an Exeter defender and made a beautiful shot from the left corner of the field. The last goal was off a free kick from Summer and Addi Hubert was in the right spot at the right time to knock it in. Unfortunately, the team couldn't keep a clean sheet and Exeter scored one goal in the last minute of the game to make it 5-1 at the final whistle. The Wildcats are looking forward to playing Wilbraham & Monson Academy on Saturday, October 21st at 3:30pm on Pope Field.
  • KUA Beats Proctor Again

    The Wildcats had an exciting game under the lights against Proctor Academy. Captain Summer Combe received a ball from Bethany Solari and sailed it into the corner of the net to put KUA on the board within the first few minutes of the game. Less than ten minutes later, Summer found Lolle Maier who dribbled towards the box and scored the second goal of the night. Both goalkeepers Sydney Zackman and Taylor Swett kept a clean sheet for the night. Captain Svia Russman-Araya stepped in and played right back for the first time this season and was very helpful moving the ball up the field. The team is looking forward to traveling to Exeter on Wednesday, October 18th and playing at 3pm. Thank you to all the fans who came to the PINK OUT game tonight; the energy and support were amazing!
  • Tough Lakes Region Loss

    KUA had a tough loss at home today against Brewster Academy. Despite having more opportunities and winning the possession game, the Wildcats just couldn't find the back of the net. We are looking forward to our PINK OUT game under the lights during Family Weekend this Friday at 6pm against Proctor Academy. Please wear pink to the game!
  • KUA Beats Holderness

    The Wildcats bounced back from their loss on Wednesday to claim another Lakes Region victory against Holderness School. KUA's first goal came late in the first half after May Lille knocked the ball into the back of the net. The Bulls came out hard the second half, but with ten minutes left Summer Combe once again had a beautiful shot from just outside the box that sailed over the goalie into the corner of the net. Sydney Zackman and her back four (Oralee Barrett, Gwyn McGee, Addi Hubert, and Hadley Bethke) had another clean sheet for the season. The girls are looking forward to facing Brewster Academy for the rematch on Wednesday, October 11th at 4:30pm on Pope Field.
  • KUA Loses Away

    GVS traveled to Lakes Region's St. Paul's School today. St. Paul's came out harder and faster than the Wildcats and quickly made it 2-0 at the half. Despite KUA's raised efforts in the second half, the team was unable to equalize. We are looking forward to turning the page and bringing more energy to Holderness School on Saturday, October 7th at 3:15pm.
  • KUA Gets Second Lakes Region Win

    The Wildcats traveled to Proctor Academy to play another Lakes Region game. There was lots of energy under the lights on a Saturday night. Dakoda Correia put KUA on the scoreboard in the first half with a nice shot from the right flank. Reese Combe had a beautiful shot that sailed towards the top left corner of the goal, but Proctor's keeper had a spectacular save, keeping the score 1-0 at the half. Early in the second half Lolle Maier had a breakaway and scored off her own rebound putting KUA up 2-0. Only a few minutes later Summer Combe danced around some defenders and took a shot from outside. The ball soared over the goalie and into the back of the net finishing out the scoring for the night. 9th grader goalkeeper, Sydney Zackman had another shutout with the help of her backline. The team is excited to travel to St. Pauls' School on Wednesday, October 4th.
  • First Lakes Region Win

    KUA faced fellow Lakes Region team, Tilton School today on Pope Field. Every healthy Wildcat saw some minutes today, and ten different girls found the back of the net. Taylor Swett had her KUA debut as goalkeeper and earned her first shutout. Bethany Solari is at the top of the leaderboard today with three goals and one assist. Lolle Maier also scored three goals. Reese Combe and Sylvie McClure both scored one goal and had one assist each. Ella Sellman had two assists. Dakoda Correia, Maddie Allen, Hadley Masson, Ava Rosi, Katie Pierson, and Ana Frederick all scored one goal each. And Hadley Bethke had one assist. The team is looking forward to traveling to Proctor Academy on Saturday, September 30th to play under the lights at 6pm.
  • Second Class A Win

    KUA had another exciting NEPSAC Class A win today against Deerfield Academy, and our first win at home of the season. The game was fairly evenly matched, but KUA had several corner kick opportunities. Finally in the second half on the 8th corner kick of the game, Svia Russman placed the ball perfectly in the box. It was knocked around a bit by both teams. Maddie Allen popped it over to Addi Hubert who found the back of the net. The Wildcats are looking forward to playing against Lakes Region's Tilton School on Wednesday, September 27th.
  • First Win

    KUA traveled to Northfield Mount Hermon School. Newcomer Bethany Solari scored a beautiful goal into the corner of the net from the left side of the field early in the first half. Despite multiple efforts by Lolle Maier, the Wildcats never found the back of the net again. Sydney Zackman had her first shutout of the season! The team is looking forward to their first home game of the season this Saturday, September 23rd at 2:30pm against Deerfield Academy. We hope to have lots of fan support!
  • Season Opener

    GVS traveled to fellow Lakes Region's Brewster Academy on Saturday, September 16th. With hurricane winds, the team held Brewster to 0-0 at the half. The second half momentum shifted for Brewster as they scored two goals back to back. First year student Sydney Zackman did a great job keeping KUA in the game. Gwyn McGee had her debut as center back, and her strong presence was helpful on defense. The Wildcats had a few crossbars, but couldn't convert. We are looking forward to traveling to Northfield Mount Hermon School on Wednesday, September 20th.
