KUA Girls’ Varsity Hockey: Development and Excellence

The KUA Girls’ Hockey Team participates in the competitive Lakes Region Athletic Conference, and has a strong history within New England prep school girls’ hockey. The team holds one New England Championship as well as several New England Prep Tournament appearances and Lakes Region Championships.

While appearing in tournaments and winning championships is always an honor, the ultimate goal is the development of the individuals who hope to play at the collegiate level. Our graduates are playing and have played at various Division I and III schools, including but not limited to: The University of Minnesota, Northeastern University, Dartmouth College, The University of Vermont, Elmira College, Norwich University, Colby College, and Amherst College.

The preparation and development begins with our coaches. KUA’s current Head Coach is Mark Hudak. Coach Hudak carries a strong resume from his vast coaching experience at various levels. Before teaching and coaching at KUA, Coach Hudak coached for 18 years with the women’s program at Dartmouth College. During that time, his teams made many NCAA Tournament appearances and won ECAC and Ivy League Championships. In addition, Coach Hudak was the Assistant Coach for the U.S. National Team, winning a Gold Medal at the World Championships.
