KUA wins their second game of the day, 74-52 over Champlain College.

The Kimball Union Boys basketball team is currently in Montreal playing in in the Sun Youth Holiday classic at Concordia University.  Yesterday in day one of pool play the Wildcats were successful winning both games:  beating Holy Heart of Mary from Newfoundland 81-52 and then later in the day, beating Champlain College from Lennoxville, QC, 72-54.   Nick Timberlake is back on track offensively putting up 17pts in the first game and 25 pts in the second to lead KUA in scoring.  The Wildcats did a nice job sharing the ball in the first game with four players: Dike (14 pts), Parker (13 pts), Cheeks (12 pts), and Engelhardt (13 pts), joining Timberlake in double figures.  In the second game Eze Dike kicked in 15 points with a couple of authoritative dunks, and Enoch Cheeks played a solid defensive game while scoring 10 points for the night.
The Wildcats now move to the semifinals tonight taking on the Notre Dame Hounds from Saskatchewan, who are off to a great start this season with their record currently standing at 12-0.
