Philip G. Chesley, A Longtime Resident Of Jackson, Nh, Who Had Also Lived For Many Years In Boxford, Ma, And Malden, Ma, Passed Away On August 1, After A Long Battle With Alzheimer'S Disease. Phil Was Born In Malden In 1941, The Son Of Elmer And Barbara (Gates) Chesley. He Graduated From Kimball Union Academy With The Class Of 1959. He Then Attended Tufts University And Graduated With The Class Of 1963, And Later Attended Suffolk University Law School, Graduating With The Class Of 1972. After Graduating From Tufts, Phil Enlisted In The Us Air Force. He Served Actively Until 1967, And Then Served In The Air Force Reserves Until 1991. In 1964, He Married His Sweetheart, Judy (Tatum), And The Two Settled Down In Malden To Raise Their Family. The Family Moved To Boxford In 1978, Before Moving To Jackson Nh, Where Phil Enjoyed Skiing And Hiking.Phil Was The Longtime Owner Of The Chesley-Kenty Insurance Agency, Which Later Formed Into The Medallion Insurance, Of Which He Served As President. He Was Also A Member And Past President Of The Malden Lions Club, And Was An Active Volunteer With Angel Flight Of New England. After His Retirement Phil Served As A Volunteer At The Memorial Hospital Of Conway, Nh. Phil Had Also Gotten His Pilots License, And Enjoyed His Time As A Private Pilot. In His Spare Time, Phil Liked To Play Guitar And Sing.He Is Survived By His Wife Of 52 Years, Judy Chesley, His Sons, Scott, Mark, And Derek Chesley, And His Grandchildren, Madeline, Max, Liam, Zach, James, And Ana.A Memorial Service For Phil Will Be Held On Saturday, September 16Th, At 2 Pm,. With Visitation Held From 12 - 2.
