John H. Jack Richardson

John H. Jack Richardson, a former longtime resident of Weston, MA passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home in No. Woodstock, N.H. following a long illness. He was 79. Born on June 11, 1938, he was the son of William G. and Margaret A. (Robertson) Richardson. John was a graduate of Kimball Union Prep School and attended Norwich University. Serving for more than 20 years, he retired as a firefighter from the Weston, Ma Fire Department and then moved to North Woodstock, N.H. He was a sign painter and an accomplished artist. In retirement, he worked at Clarks Trading Post in Lincoln, N.H. His wife of 55 years, Claire V. (Nickerson) Richardson died May 26, 2017. He leaves a daughter Dawn Richardson of Woodstock, N.H., sons William (Ricky) Richardson and Peter Richardson both of Framingham, MA, Philip Richardson of Ashland, MA; grandchildren Gordon and Doug Richardson; a sister Billie Cowden of Black Hawk, SD; and two sisters-inLaw Jean Mahoney of Marlboro, MA and Gail Ramey of Sandwich, MA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 5:00pm to 6:00pm Friday, September 8 at Cascade Park in No. Woodstock, NH and continue from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Lincoln American Legion Post #83 in Lincoln, N.H. Arrangements are by Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main St., No. Woodstock, N.H.
