Robert "Bob" Pons

PONS, Robert Paul "Bob" 77, of Kennebunk, formerly of Framingham, MA, in Maine Sunday, February 5, 2017, just minutes after watching his New England Patriots make history. Bob is a graduate of Brookline High School, where he was a standout three-sport athlete competing on the football, hockey and baseball teams, making the National (under 14) hockey team and won the US championship, and selected by the Boston Globe for its All-Scholastic Hockey Team. He attended Kimball Union Preparatory School, and graduated from Boston College with a Bachelors and Master's degree in economics. Bob was employed with Crawford & Co. in Washington DC, GEICO Insurance Co, then SSA (Social Security Administration) at their Baltimore headquarters and Boston Federal Regional Office with the Department of HHS retiring in 2002. Beloved husband of Mary Lee (Johnson) Pons, father to Greg and Caryn (husband Michael), brother of R. Marylyn Ford and Beverly Leckemby, and grandfather to Luke and Owen.
