Jeremy (Jerry) C. Lindsay 

A long-time resident of Bellevue WA, Jerry passed away at the age of 88 on January 8, 2017 after a long illness. 

He is survived by his wife of over 65 years Madeline Lindsay, children Susan Lussier (Raymond) of Mukilteo, WA, Richard Lindsay (Lisa) of Mountlake Terrace, WA, daughter Sheila Lindsay of Dallas, TX, as well grandchildren Conor and Caitlin Lindsay. He is also survived by his sister Betsy Harris (Alan) of Menlo Park, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents Steele and Dorothy Lindsay of Seattle, WA.

Born in Boston, MA on May 22, 1928, Jerry was a graduate of Lexington High School, attended Kimball Union Academy and graduated from Dartmouth College. Jerry and Madeline moved from Massachusetts in 1951, initially living in Seattle and then moving to Bellevue in 1953. Jerry loved sports of all kinds. He played golf most of his adult life and was a former member at Overlake Golf & Country Club. He was a fan of all of the Seattle area sports teams including the Seattle Pilots, Seattle Supersonics and Seattle Totems of yesteryear, to the current day Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners. Since he played ice hockey growing up in New England, Jerry was also an avid fan of the NHL and regularly watched the games on TV. As a result of his roots in New England he also remained a lifelong fan of the Boston Bruins as well as Boston Red Sox. 

At Jerry's request, his family will gather privately to celebrate his life. A committal ceremony will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Medina WA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in his memory.
