Joseph E. Bowley

Joseph E. Bowley, 52, died October 24, 2016 at his home in Sorrento. He was born in Exeter, NH, December 25, 1963, a son of Eben M. and Mary J. (Dorsey) Bowley. Joe grew up in Exeter, NH and graduated from Exeter High School and later Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. He moved to Maine after graduating from college and lived in Sorrento with his dog Charlotte. He was a poet and writer in addition to his architectural design work. He enjoyed photography, traveling and visiting friends throughout the U.S. and Canada. He is survived by his brother, Jim; his dog, Charlotte; and many friends and extended family.
