Theodore G. Clark
Theodore G. Clark, 75, of Natick, Massachusetts passed unexpectedly in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina March 1, 2015. The son of the late Dr. Theodore D. Clark and Doris (Mooers) Clark, Ted grew up in Newtonville, Massachusetts and Wells, Maine and attended Newton schools. Ted graduated Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH, and went on to Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
As a teenager, he was active in the Newton YMCA and was chosen to represent the Y at a conference in Paris. He was an remarkable swimmer and was a member of the Springfield College competitive swim team.
Ted was a passionate sports fan and participant; he coached womens swimming; liked to ski; was an avid golfer and enjoyed his Saturday mornings on the Sandy Burr Country Club's golf course in Wayland, MA.
Ted was well-known in the Fire Alarm industry, having active-ly worked for several companies over his 40 year professional career.
He leaves two sons, Theodore W. Clark of Hampton, NH and Andrew M. Clark and his wife Jennifer of Hampton, NH, a sister, Mary Ellen Hill and her husband, Robert M. Hill of Nottingham, NH., son-in-law Frank Rhoades of Epsom, New Hampshire, grandchildren Brittney, Bradley, Rachel, Maxwell, Ella and Hannah, nephews Clark P. Hill, R. Douglas Hill and his wife Mary, a niece, Amy E. Hill, grand nieces and nephews and dear friend Paula Kelley. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kristen J. Rhoades. Services will be private.
