Brian C. Ault

Brian Carr Ault passed away in his home, in Bradenton, Florida on Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 after a heroic battle with lung cancer. He was 70 years old, and surrounded by his family at the time. Brian was born on November 24th, 1944 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Mary Carr Ault, and Thomas Jefferson Ault III. He grew up in Grosse Point, MI. 

Brian graduated from Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH in 1963. He attended Syracuse University, and received a B.S. degree in Business Management from the University of New Hampshire in 1968. He met Patricia Blair at Syracuse University, and they were married in 1968 in Manlius, New York.

He was on active duty as a First Lieutenant in the US Army in Karlsruhe, Germany, until 1971. He began his business management career in 1972 with Xerox Corporation, where he became Senior Manager for Major Accounts Operations through 1995. He joined Kelly Services from 1995 - 2006 as Vice President of Sales and Operations - International Division. In 2008, he joined Generational Equity as Senior Management Director. Brian is listed in the 2015 edition of Marquis Who's Who in America for marketing management.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Blair Ault; his 3 daughters, and son-in-laws, Kelly Ault, and Phil Beard, Ashley, and Markus Esch, and Leigh and Matt Capozzi; and, 5 grandchildren: Austin and Carson Beard, Sophia and Lily Capozzi, and Oliver Esch.

Brian traveled extensively worldwide for business, and pleasure, as well as to visit his children and grandchildren in Vermont, Maryland, and Oregon. He was also an avid skier, golfer, and tennis player.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in Pittsford, N.Y. on July 25th. A memorial service will be held in Sarasota at a later date.
