The Wildcats Take On the Hornets

The JV Field Hockey Team traveled down to Andover to play the Proctor Hornets on Saturday for their second match-up of the year. The game began with a bit of back and forth, both teams gaining possession and attempting to bring the ball into their scoring zone. The Wildcats opened up the scoring in the first quarter, freshman Paige Gamble scored off of a pass from junior Katie Ayers. Later, in the third quarter, Sophie Coehlo scored unassisted by getting a rebound off of the Honert goalie and redirecting the ball into the net. And finally, in the fourth quarter, Ayers scored two goals; the first assisted by freshman Analena Connors, the birthday girl, ad Conway, the second assisted by senior Lola Kuczynska. The Hornets scored a goal in the final minutes making the final score 4-1. The Wildcats earned 4 corners and Amelia Keith had 4 saves in the net.

The JV Field Hockey team plays the Holderness Bulls next Saturday for our home opener.
