Great first half not enough as KUA JV girls hoopsters fall to Huskies

KUA again played a determined first half against a deep and talented New Hampton squad and fell to the Huskies. The final score did not reflect the toughness of the game, as the Huskies wore down the 'Cats in the last ten minutes of the contest. Seniors Kate Mackey and Haley McNamara agian led the way offensively for KUA with 17 and 7 points respectively. Nikki Boboc-Petrescu '20 and Maddy Bridge '21 played their usual relentless defense to keep the game close until the last quarter. The Wildcats travel to Proctor to try to get back on the winning track on Wednesday.
