KUA gives up late PK in 1-0 loss

Despite a tremendous effort and three good scoring chances of their own, a late second halk PK was awarded to Exeter, and the resulting goal was enough for the Wildcats to suffer a disappointing loss on the road. KUA's Vanessa Mateko hit the post with just over 2 minutes remaining in the game and a Gracie Gamache cross argualbly struck an Exeter defender in the arm in the box with time expiring on the clock. The loss did not diminish a hard fought, all around team effort. Casey Allen, Kylie Mellon, Willa McGough, Sasha Lawton, Lena Dieselhorst, and Bella Parento were steadfast in the back. Exeter had speed on the wings, but were unable to turn to corner and penetrate the 18. Emily Pariseau provide coverage in the midfield and Lucie Turcotte and Alex Parsons worked tirelessly on the flanks. KUA (4-4-2) play Proctor on the road Friday night.
