KUA Falls to Exeter

The Wildcats surrendered eight runs in the top of the first inning and never recovered, falling 20-1 to Exeter on Wednesday in Meriden. A combination of Exeter's batting and KUA's defensive errors and walks contributed to a tough day in the field for the Wildcats. Offensively for KUA, senior captain Chloe Rourke-Nicholas led the way, going 3-for-3 at the plate with two singles, a double, and the team's only run scored. Freshman Audrey Donahue was 2-for-2 at the plate, while Maddy Haynes, Seana Perkins, and Katherine Lawton all had one hit each.
