KUA Faceoff Dominance Leads to a Lakes Region Win

The Wildcats got off to a slow start of Wednesday at Tilton. Freshman midfielder Griffin Hatley was instrumental in helping KUA establish momentum scoring the first goal of the game. Hatley teamed up with Jack Bolg to win 15 of 17 faceoffs to keep the ball on the Tilton end of the field most of the day. The margin would have been wider, if not for the effort of the Tilton goaltender who made 18 saves on the day. Senior midfielder Will Kezerian continued his strong play scoring 4 goals on the day. Attackman Jay Chubb had a goal and two assists.

Defensively, KUA was stout in front of goalies Griffin and Lees. Seniors Hayes Huwiler and Alex Hone were steady and sophomores Jack Bolg, Matt Sites and Anthony Fresoloni applied strong pressure, keeping the Rams off-balance all day.

KUA travels to Holderness Saturday for a big Lakes Region tilt with playoff implications.
