KUA falls to St. Paul's

The Girls' JV Lacrosse team traveled to St. Paul's School on a sunny Saturday afternoon. This was the first time the Wildcats played on grass this season and the girls quickly adjusted to the different challenges that come with grass. The St. Paul's Pelicans started the game off strong with quick transitions and tough shots. Sophomore Amelia Keith played an amazing game as the goalkeeper. She faced 19 shots and stopped all shots in the second half. The defense continued to improve as they gained confidence. The Wildcats earned nine ground balls and two interceptions. Sophomore Hanna Wiczek found her way into the attack zone and had two free position shots. Unfortunately, the Wildcats could not find the back of the net and the game ended with a final score of 10-0. Keith finished the game with 9 saves. The Wildcats look forward to their next game on Saturday, April 13th at Brewster Academy at 3:00 pm.
