KUA Tops Nobles

Kimball Union earned a huge win over Nobles and Greenough from the ISL on Saturday. KUA's Ethan Howell got the scoring going on The Wildcat's first possession. While the Wildcat's never trailed Noble's dominated early possession thanks to their advantage at the faceoff X. KUA goaltender Teddy Griffin was huge in net all day making 15 stops and helping KUA clear at an amazing 94% rate. Late in the 1Q Dome Carter hit Hill Carter on a skip pass for a goal to put KUA up 2-0. Nobles answered early in the 2Q to cut the score to 2-1, but Carson Moe and Dom Carter both tallied goals to stretch the lead to 4-1. Nobles rallied back to 4-3, before Dominic Carter stretched the lead to 5-3 just before half. The 3Q started well for KUA as Ethan Howell and Dom Carter helped the lead balloon to 8-3. Nobles rallied, getting as close as 9-8 late in the 4Q. Dominic Carter added his fourth of the day for the game winner. Sophomore middies Coltler Linglebach-Pierce, Max Gesner, and Anthony Fresolone made huge plays between the lines to help secure the win.
