Wildcats Get 1st Win
The second leg of the spring tour brought the Wildcats to Mercersburg Academy. A nasty day for lacrosse as the cold rain made it uncomfortable for most in attendance. KUA didn’t let the conditions hamper their play as they jumped on their opponents early and often. Dominic Carter ‘19 and Ethan Howell ‘20 led the way on offense with strong quarterbacking from Peyton Cepetelli ‘19.
The young Wildcats were the story of the day. Goalie Kobi Lees ‘21 went the distance only allowing 2 goals. Sophomore defenders Matt Sites, Jack Bolg and Anthony Fresoloni along with Alex Hone ‘19 worked well as a unit defensively and in the clearing game. Gunnar Wood ‘21 was dominating at the faceoff X and Hill Carter ’21 scored his first career goal on a man-up blast.
KUA travels to Albany for a huge matchup with Albany Academy on Saturday.
