KUA breaks out of their slump

Eight different players scored as the Wildcats finally broke their streak of road losses. Sean Donoghue scored and earned an assist in his first game back after a severe hand injury, Nick Fife and Kobi Lees each earned their first goals of the season, Jeremy Sigl was the points leader with 5, and Reece Dousevicz was strong in the KUA net. Two of KUA’s best plays of the game did not result in goals: Cam Tucker created a number of great opportunities and rifled one shot just under the crossbar where the Proctor goalie made a spectacular glove save, and Patrick Hyjek made a pinpoint pass across the front of the net to Anthony Fresolone, but the goalie saved that shot as well. The Proctor Hornets never gave up and netted the last two goals of the game. The Wildcats now face two more road games in quick succession – Tilton on Friday and Exeter on Saturday.
