KUA Ends Skid, Defeats Holderness

On a blustery Wednesday afternoon, KUA finally picked up their first win of 2019 and their fourth of the season against Holderness, 43-27.  Holderness never gave up and cut the KUA advantage down to single digits midway through the second half, but thanks to the inside play of Eli Jaynes and the sharpshooting of Noah Spaulding, who hit two daggers when the game got within reach for the Bulls, the Wildcats were able to pull away and secure victory.  Captains Jaynes (10 points) and Spaulding (9 points) led a balanced attack that also saw Jack Bolg (6 points), who had his finest game of the year, Hill Carter (5 points), Kelvin Zhang (5 points), SImon Pelzman (4 points), Charlie Creelman (3 points), and Roger Liu (1 point),  KUA received solid performances from Owen Xu and Caleb Nadell as well.
