KUA Falls to 3-3

KUA opened 2019 with a loss away at Northfield Mount Hermon, one of their toughest and most talented opponents of the year. The team played well in stretches defensively and offensively and knotted the game up at 11-11 after falling behind early and cut the NMH advantage to 11 points after they stormed to a 20-plus point lead in the second half. In the end, NMH's star, Elijah Edwards (24 points), was just too much for the Wildcats and NMH was able to pull away. Offensively, senior captain Eli Jaynes carried the load with 19 points while Simon Pelzman (5 points), Hill Carter (4 points), Roger Liu (4 points), Jack Bolg (2 points), and Charlie Creelman (2 points) joined him on the scoring tally sheet. KUA received strong performances off the bench from Liu and Bolg. Liu, in particular, had an excellent second half.
