Junior Trio Propel Wildcats to Win Over Belmont Hill

In the second game of the day, KUA got a goal and two assists apiece from juniors Tomas Mazura, Zach Whitehead, and Sullivan Mack to top Belmont Hill at the Nichols Tournament.  Kyle Penney scored a breakaway goal in the first period but Belmont Hill tied the game late in the first and had many chances to pull ahead but for some great saves from KUA’s Zach Paputsakis (23 saves). The line of Mazura, Mack, and Whitehead took control in the second and Arlo Merritt buried a wrist shot in the third to give KUA a four-goal lead before Belmont Hill added a late goal.
