Rivers holds on to defeat the Wildcats 71-69

Playing in their second game of the day the Wildcats  took host Rivers down to the wire before losing 71-69 in the end.  Kimball Union had an early lead of ten cut to three at the half and then were exchanging the lead for much of the final stanza before Rivers hit four consecutive threes late in the game to pull ahead.   Jay Elmore, hitting 5 threes, was the game highscorer with 25 points, followed closely by Enoch Cheeks (23 pts), and Will Engelhardt (11pts).  The Wildcats will play Beaver Country Day School in the third place game tomorrow.
