Academy Receives Largest Gift in School's History

Rob Snow '85, Board of Trustees Chair
We are pleased to announce that Kimball Union Academy has received an anonymous gift of $20,000,000 for the school’s endowment. This is the largest single gift in the school’s 206-year history.

This transformative gift is a testament to the impact the school has on the lives of its students and community. It represents an appreciation for Kimball Union Academy’s mission to prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow's world by inspiring academic mastery, creativity, responsibility, and leadership. It is also a powerful demonstration of confidence in the future of the Academy.

This gift will have a profound influence on current and future generations of Kimball Union students and employees. It will provide accessibility for students, help to attract and retain talented and motivated employees, and support some immediate campus housing upgrades.

It is my firm belief that Mike Schafer’s leadership, a dedicated faculty, and outstanding students have inspired this generosity and we are humbled by it. With great anticipation, I look forward to witnessing the impact that this gift has on our community and the future leaders who learn and grow at KUA.
