KUA loses to Exeter

Kimball Unions field hockey team hosted their final home game of the regular season against Philips Exeter Academy today. The Wildcats started off strong and two minutes into the game scored the first goal of the game. Wildcats earned their first corner,  Maddie Hastings inserted the ball to Carissa Tambroni who fired a shot past the Exeter goal keeper. Twelve minutes later Exeter earned a stroke shot and tied up the game 1-1. The game went back and fourth for a while until Exeter scored from a shot at the top of the circle, making it 2-1 going into the half. In the second half both teams had great opportunities but neither could find the back of net, ending the game with Exeter up by 1.
 
Kimball Union is now 8-4-1 on the season and will travel up to Hebron Academy on Wednesday October 31st.
