Wildcats Beat Bobcats!

The Wildcats travelled to Wolfeboro, NH to take on the Bobcats. After a very windy and rainy start the Wildcats came off strong. The midfield dominated the game with hard passes and cuts to get past the Bobcats. Five minutes into the half Carissa Tambroni had a hard shot on net that Amalie Ball deflected behind the goalie. Five minutes later Kirsten Watson had a drive off of a corner that blasted behind the goalie. KUA continued to pressure Brewsters defense and worked hard inside our offensive circle, which earned us another corner. The corner was inserted by Maddie Hastings to Kirsten Watson who passed to Carissa Tambroni, who then sent a cross to Lexi Bartlett. Lexi took a shot on net and Hastings positioned herself on the post to deflect the shot into the net, making it 3-0 at the half. In the second half Brewster put some pressure on KUAs defense but Hailey Fahey played a great game keeping the ball out and Seana Perkins had some big saves to deny Brewster any goals. Carissa Tambroni scored the final goal off of a stroke shot, making the final score 4-0.

KUA improves to 7-3 on the season and will travel to New Hampton School on Friday October 19.
